    Getting There

    Closest City & Distance:
    Sonora Resort is a 30 minute float plane / helicopter flight from Vancouver, or a 75 minute boat ride from Campbell River on Vancouver Island.

    Getting there:
    Helicopter London Air Services, offers helicopter transportation to Sonora Resort from Vancouver in just 50 minutes. Seaplane Occasionally, when othe helicopters are undergoing scheduled maintenance or they have less than a 50% load, Sonora provides seaplane travel. Helicopter and Seaplane transportation is available every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with the helicopters departing from the Esso Avitat in Richmond (Nr. Vancouver) at 3:00PM and the seaplanes departing from Seair or Harbour Air docks in Richmond at 3:00 pm. Departures from Sonora Resort to the Esso Avitat and seaplane docks leave at 4:00 pm. For those guests not able to or not wishing to travel on scheduled service days, private charters can be arranged outside the scheduled departure days and times. Water Taxi Water taxi transportation is available from Campbell River's Discovery Harbour Marina. This scenic 75-minute water taxi ride is available daily departing at 3:00 pm. Departures from Sonora Resort to the Discovery Harbour Marina leave at 1:00 pm.
